Hays After 5 group will meet Nov. 14

Special to The Hays Daily News

"Hey, who's in control here?"

That's the topic inspirational speaker Kris Driskill will address at the November meeting of the Hays After 5 Christian women's group.

Driskill of Belton, Mo., describes herself as a former "self-proclaimed director of the universe," who had control issues.

But, she said, she learned to let go, and now she advises others how to do just that. Her story includes her battles with rebellious children, finances and fear.

The meeting will be at 7 p.m. Nov. 14 at the Bakery Shop, 230 E. Eighth. Cost of the dinner program is $12.50.

Also on the agenda are The Knitting Duo, Virginia Kraus and Yeyette Houfek.

Reservations are due Thursday to Sherrill at (785) 621-4701 or to dkoster@eaglecom.net.

Hays After 5 is affiliated with Stonecroft Ministries of Kansas City, Mo.
