Angela Desbien and Douglas Walcher were married Sept. 22, 2007, at St. Martinde Porres Catholic Church, Boulder, Colo., with Father Mike Scully officiating.

Parents of the couple are James and Paula Desbien, Plainville, and Jerry and Lynda Walcher, Temperance, Mich.

The bride was escorted by her father.

Honor attendant was Kelly Gorman, friend of the bride. Attendants were Sarah Stella, Amy Winter and Lilia Cervantes, friends of the bride, and Cara Donnelly, goddaughter of the bride.

Best man was Chris Hulings, friend of the groom. Groomsmen were Jerry Walcher and Phil Walcher, brothers of the groom, Jeff Smalley, friend of the groom, and Caleb Tramp, godson of the bride.

Ushers were Bob Merritt and Pete Schmieg, friends of the groom. Flowergirls were Margaret Ann Shavo and Ada Jane Shavo, nieces of the groom. Ringbearer was Ben Walcher, nephew of the groom.

The bride graduated from Thomas More Prep-Marian High School, Creighton University and University of Kansas Medical School. She is a doctor.

The bridegroom is a graduate of Bedford High School and the University of Toledo. He is an electrical engineer.

Following a wedding trip to Spain, the newlyweds are at home in Denver.
