Lacie Bittel and Daniel Haas were married Oct. 17, 2009, at St. Mary Catholic Church, Ellis, with Father Curtis Carlson officiating.

Parents of the couple are Dennis and Sharon Bittel, and Gary and Millie Haas, all of Ellis.

Grandparents are Rose Dorzweiler, Ellis, the late Marion Dorzweiler, Harold and Donna Bittel, Albuquerque, N.M., Anna Flax, Ellis, the late Phillip Flax and the late Celestine and Hazel Haas.

The bride was escorted by her father.

Honor attendant was Brandi Fink, friend of the bride. Attendants were Chelsey Smith, Jessie Williams and Lyndsay Dorzweiler, cousins of the bride, and Lacy Petry, friend of the bride. Flower girl was Kyla Burdick, cousin of the groom.

Best man was Daren Haas, brother of the groom. Better man was Dylan Haas, brother of the groom. Groomsmen were Aaron Honas, Ryan Honas and John Kroeger, friends of the groom, and Logan Bittel, brother of the bride. Ring bearer was Konnor Pfeifer, cousin of the groom.

Candlelighters were Karen Smith, godmother of the bride, and Charlotte Pfeifer, godmother of the groom. Ushers were Preston Bollig, cousin of the groom, and Shawn Brack, Ernie Fink and Darren Johnson, friends of the groom.

The bride is a 2005 graduate of Ellis High School and a 2009 graduate of Fort Hays State University with a bachelor's degree in medical diagnostic imaging. She is employed at Hays Medical Center.

The bridegroom is a 2002 graduate of EHS and a 2003 graduate of Salina Area Technical College. He is self-employed.

Following a wedding trip to Florida, the newlyweds are at home in Ellis.
