Shelley Cooper and Andrew Bohme were married Aug. 2, 2008, in an outdoor, double-ring ceremony at the home of Roger and Sandy Robinson, Wilson, with Pastor Linda Willey officiating.

Parents of the couple are Stevan and Sharon Cooper, Chase, and Kenny and Janice Bohme, Atwood. Grandparents of the bride are Duane and Helen Gugler, Salina, and the late Milton and June Cooper. Grandparents of the groom are William Cahoj Sr., Atwood, the late Margaret Cahoj, and the late Francis and Dorothy Bohme.

Matron of honor for her sister was Susan Dumler, Hays. Sonya Nuss, Lumberton, N.C., friend of the bride, served as maid of honor. Attendants were Amber Snell, Salina, Jamie Herold, Chase, April Wolters, Atwood, Mandi Bussen, Hays, and Jennifer Heape, Chase, friends of the bride. Flower girl was Julia DeVries, Andover, cousin of the bride.

Best man was Stuart Withington, Colby, friend of the groom. Groomsmen were Michael Bohme, Colby, and Mark Bohme, Atwood, both brothers of the groom; Travis Most, Mission, Nick Cahoj, Overland Park, and Eric Luedke, Iowa City, all cousins of the groom; and Matt Dumler, Hays, friend of the groom. Ushers were Jeremy Taylor, Tony Brown, and Bret Nichols, Hays, all friends of the couple; Christopher Poskey, Lawrence, friend of the bride; and Chad Dubbert, Emporia, cousin of the groom.

Harpist Megan Cahoj, Manhattan, cousin of the groom, provided processional music for the ceremony. Readers were Jennifer Beckman, Lawrence, sister of the groom, and Laci Dearden, Denver, friend of the bride. Jenna Wann, Topeka, friend of the couple, attended the guest book. Kaci Nichols, Wilson, and Chelsee Poskey, Chase, friends of the bride, were gift table attendants and distributed programs and balloons.

Mitch and Sheree Poskey, Chase, friends of the bride, hosted the reception after the wedding. They were assisted by Nancy Barlow, Lyons, and Angel Kerr, Concordia, aunts of the bride; Donna Most, Atwood, aunt of the groom; Karna Bruey, Bushton, Karen Starr, Chase, and Kaci Kelso, Lyons, friends of the bride.

The bride is a graduate of Chase High School and Fort Hays State University. She is speech-language pathologist for Coastal Speech Center, Lumberton.

The bridegroom graduated from Atwood High School and attended Fort Hays State University. He is employed by UPS.

Following a wedding trip to Jamaica, the newlyweds are at home in Lumberton.
