Bibles will be collected for recyling from 1 to 5 p.m. March 22 at East Frontier Park.

All translations will be accepted, regardless of condition. New Testaments are also needed.

The Bibles will be collected by the Edwin L. Hodges Ministry, Decatur, Ala., which will ship them overseas where they are needed. The ministry has sent Christian literature to 60 countries on six continents, and says it has more than 8,000 unfilled requests for Christian literature.

Churches can help by encouraging a Sunday School class, youth group or a committee to sponsor a used Bible collection.
