The Heartland Parishes of Ellis County will begin another six-week Catholics Returning Home series at 6:30 p.m. Sunday at St. Joseph Parish Service Center, 210 W. 13th, in the building directly across the street from the church.

The sessions are meant for Catholics who are inactive or have left the faith, but are considering returning or would like more information about where they fit, as baptized Catholics, within the church.

Team members consist primarily of lay Catholics who left or strayed from, the church and have returned. The atmosphere is casual. In later weeks, a priest is sometimes brought in to explain some of the subject matter.

There is no obligation to return after any session, nor is there any requirement to attend all sessions.
