Colleen Loo and Derick Gross were married July 26, 2008, at St. Thomas Aquinas, Wichita, with Father John Hay and Deacon James Blume officiating.
Parents of the couple are Samuel and Lydia Loo, Wichita, and Kraig and Laure Gross, Hays.
The bride was escorted by her father.
Honor attendant was Jenna Kennedy, friend of the bride. Attendants were Michelle LeCluyse, and Molly Hoss, both friends of the bride, and Kara Gross, sister of the groom.
Best man was Kevin Threlkel, friend of the groom. Groomsmen were Chad Stoecklein, friend of the groom, Garret Rome, cousin of the groom, and Peter Loo, brother of the bride.
Ushers were Kevin Dishman, friend of the bride, Kristopher Gross and Jason Rome, cousins of the groom, Steven Le, friend of the groom, and Kush Mehta, friend of the bride. Candlelighters were Stephanie Chen, cousin of the bride, and Bailey Rome, cousin of the groom. Flower girl was Ariana Safavieh, cousin of the bride. Ringbearer was Trenton Rome, cousin of the groom.
The bride is a 2004 graduate of Wichita Collegiate School and 2007 graduate of Kansas State University with bachelor's degrees in chemical science and in biochemistry and a minor in Spanish. She is a second-year medical student at University of Kansas School of Medicine.
The bridegroom is a 2003 graduate of Thomas More Prep-Marian High School and attended KSU. He is a third-year pharmacy student at KU School of Pharmacy.
Following a wedding trip to Montego Bay, Jamaica, the newlyweds are at home in Kansas City and plan to move to Wichita this summer to begin clinical rotations.
