Heather Robben and John Benkelman were married Nov. 6, 2010, at St. Fidelis Catholic Church, Victoria, with Father Mike Scully, O.F.M. Cap., officiating.

Parents of the couple are Bill and Paula Robben, Pampa, Texas, and Bill and Susan Benkelman, WaKeeney.

Grandparents of the couple are Edwin and Ruth Engel, Loretta, the late Rich and Verna Robben, the late John and Joan Hancock, and the late Wilmet and Melba Benkelman.

Honor attendant was Brandy Kemph-Adamson, Dallas. Attendants were Mandy Waldrip and Katy Moone, Pampa; Hayley Schmidtberger, Hays, cousin of the bride; Kelly Riley, Lubbock, Texas; and Colleen Quick, cousin of the bride, Olathe. The flower girl was Kennedy Moone, Pampa.

The best man was Barry Benkelman, Lawrence, brother of the groom. Groomsmen were Ryan Woodall, Evergreen, Colo., Justin Dietz, WaKeeney, Dustin Gilliland, St. Francis, Clay Scanlon, Hoxie, and McGinnis Leathers, Athens, Ga. The ring bearers were Reese, Andrew and Caden Waldrip, Pampa.

Scripture reader was Beth Ricke, Olathe, cousin of the bride.

Ushers were Russell Robben, Hays, and Matthew Robben, Houston, brothers of the bride, Nate Brown, Tyler Fabrizius and Lee Sells, all of WaKeeney and John Galloway, Weston, Mo. The candlelighters were Brianna Robben, Houston, and Rachel Robben, Hays, both sister-in-laws of the bride.

Personal attendants were Shanna Dinkel, Victoria, and Sarah Younger, Loretta, both cousins of the bride. Registering the guests were Ashley Dreiling, Overland Park, cousin of the bride, and Deb Polifka, Hays. Programs were Ally Dinkel, Victoria, cousin of the bride, and Will and Jack Benkelman, Lawrence, nephews of the groom.

Music was provided by trumpeter Brad Dawson, pianist/organist, Tom Megher, Hays, and vocalists were Rick Rupp, Jerry Schmidtberger, Leroy Schmidtberger and Meagan Wellbrock, all of Victoria.

A reception followed the service at the Ellis County Fairgrounds with Holly Richards, Austin, Texas, Anne Konshak and Karen Summers, Harker Heights, Texas, and Valerie Mace, Athens, Texas, serving the guests.

The bride is a 1998 graduate of Pampa High School, a 2002 graduate of Texas A&M University wth a bachelor's degree, and received a doctorate in optometry from the University of Houston in 2006. She is practicing optometry in Wakeeney, Hays and Great Bend.

The bridegroom is a 1990 graduate of Trego Community High School and received a bachelor's from FHSU. He has owned and operated Benkelman Remodeling for the past 11 years.

The newlyweds plan to make their home near Ellis.
