The Fort Hay State University menís golf team completed play in the two day Bob Writz Invitational on Sunday in Denver.
The Tigers shot a team total of 674, placing ninth as a team. Colorado State-Pueblo won with a 614. MiAA rival Nebraska-Kearney placed eighth in the team standings with a 657. Fort Hays completed the invitational Sunday with a 334 round, six strokes better than the first day.
Junior Skyler Tebo led the Tigers with a two-day total of 165 (83-82). He tied for 37th. Freshman Colton Bobek shot a 168 to tie for 42nd. He was followed by junior Dalton Ayres (169, 44th tie), sophomore Jake Weller (172, 55th tie) and freshman Marshal Hutchins (179, 58).
Fort Hays will play in the Midwest Spring Fling at Cottonwood Hills Golf Course in Hutchinson on April 3.
