Danielle Phillips and Kurtis Dudo were married Aug. 9, 2008, at Holy Cross Lutheran Church, Kearney, Neb., with Pastor Rob Kuefner officiating.

Parents of the couple are Tom and Donna Phillips, Hays, and Karl and Sylvia Dudo, Grant, Neb.

The bride was escorted by her father.

Honor attendant was Rachel Rowley, friend of the bride. Attendants were Heidi Ruzicka, Angie Mass and Sarah Desaire, friends of the bride.

Best man was Todd Hatcher, friend of the groom. Groomsmen were Talon Gorgen, and Justin Richardson, friends of the groom, and Scott Phillips, brother of the bride. Ushers were Zachary Appel, brother-in-law of the groom, and Lex Ravenscroft, friend of the groom.

Candlelighters were Taylor Brockhaus and Michaela Urwiller, cousins of the bride. Flower girls were Sophia Hilliard, friend of the bride, and Stella Samples, cousin of the bride. Ringbearer was Derek Brockhaus, cousin of the bride.

The bride is a graduate of Hays High School and the University of Nebraska. She is a second-grade teacher at Newell Elementary, Grand Island.

The bridegroom is a graduate of Grant High School and Mid Plains Community College. He is an automotive technician.

Following a wedding trip to Jackson, Wyo., the newlyweds are at home in Grand Island.
