Special to The Hays Daily News
Local author Elizabeth Schmeidler will have a book-signing from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday at Messenger, 2512 Vine.
"The Good Sinner," Schmeidler's third novel differs from her previous historical fiction novels, she said.
"Of course, the term, 'good sinner' is an oxymoron," she said. "Sin is never good. But as the reader dives into the story, the significance of the title will soon make more sense. As indicated by the book cover, I believe that our country is hurting -- bleeding, in fact. My hope is that, through this book and others like it, the healing can begin."
Dealing with issues affecting society, Schmeidler said the book is "suspense, mystery, humor and faith, all rolled into a quick-reading book that will not only entertain but, hopefully, provoke thoughts and discussion of current social issues and faith."
"The Good Sinner" is available at Amazon.com in paperback and for Kindle.
