The United Methodist Women of First United Methodist Church, Hays, contribute annually to local charities from the proceeds from its Peddlers Fair in November.

Representatives from the agencies attended the February UMW Meeting to receive these gifts: First Call for Help, Sara Dreher and Kenzie Green; Community Assistance Center, Lori Mortinger; United Methodist Campus Ministries, Steve Johnson; Salvation Army, Ruth Mullen; Hospice of Hays, Sue Noll; Ministerial Alliance, Pastor Berniece Ludlum; Fort Hays State Stroke Wellness Center, Charmaine Kandt; Northwest Kansas Domestic and Sexual Violence, Judy Walker. Dream Inc.'s donation was mailed to them.

Other missions receiving funds were Youthville; Camp Lakeside near Scott City; Western Kansas Mexican American Ministries; Lydia Patterson Institute, El Paso, Texas; Ogden House near Junction City; McCurdy School, New Mexico; Grace Medical Center, Wichita; and Cookson Hills Indian Mission, Oklahoma; and Four Corners Mission.
