Rachael Ann Doxon and Christopher Ernest Klaus were married Oct. 11, 2008, at Our Lady Help of Christians Catholic Church, Antonino, with Father Earl Befort officiating.

Parents of the couple are Robert and Vicki Doxon, Ogallah, and Ernie and Linette Klaus, Hays.

Grandparents are Wilma Doxon, the late Henry Doxon, Anna Marie Boren, the late Jesse Boren, Marvin Klaus, the late Mary Frances Klaus, and the late Quintin and Patricia Hickert.

The bride was escorted by her father.

Honor attendant was Barbara Doxon, sister of the bride. Attendants were Elizabeth Doxon, sister of the bride, Stacey Komarek, sister of the groom, and Kaleena Zahn, friend of the bride.

Best man was Tyler Klaus, brother of the groom. Groomsmen were Justin Beal and Ryan Hammerschmidt, cousins of the groom, and Luke Flax, friend of the groom. Ushers were Brandon Klaus and Scott Beal, cousins of the groom, and Clint Pfannenstiel and Wade Pfannenstiel, friends of the couple.

Flower girl was Karli Komarek, niece of the groom. Ringbearer was Coltin Pfannenstiel, cousin of the groom.

The bride is a 2001 graduate of Trego Community High School, WaKeeney, and a 2005 graduate of the University of Kansas with a bachelor's degree in cellular biology. She is an employee at Quest Diagnostics and is pursuing her MLT degree through Barton County Community College.

The bridegroom is a 2001 graduate of Thomas More Prep-Marian High School and a 2003 graduate of Butler County Community College. He is a farmer.

Following a wedding trip to Kansas City, the newlyweds are at home in Hays.
