Diane Poe and Aaron Traffas were married Sept. 25, 2010, at St. Boniface Catholic Church, Sharon, with Father Cosmas officiating.
Parents of the couple are Ed and Debbie Poe, Oakley, and Brian and Marilyn Traffas, Sharon.
Grandparents of the couple are Jim and Shirley Hundley, Muscotah, Marvin and Ruby Poe, Oberlin, Ruth Marcotte, Victoria, the late Lawrence Marcotte, Mary Traffas, Sharon, and the late Vincent Traffas.
Honor attendant was Holly VanSkike, sister of the bride. Attendants were Megan Piester and Erica Traffas, sisters of the groom, and Christine Poe and Lindsay Poe, sisters-in-law of the bride.
Best man was Kyle Dohm, friend of the groom. Groomsmen were Rob Spectre and Mason Powell, friends of the groom, Andrew Piester, brother-in-law of the groom, and Wayne Graham, cousin of the groom. Ushers were Craig Poe and David Poe, brothers of the bride, and Josh Jacobs and Mark Hunter, friends of the groom.
Flower girls were Julianna Poe and Gabriella Poe, nieces of the bride. Ringbearer was Will Graham, cousin of the groom.
The reception, dinner and dance were at the Heritage Center in Medicine Lodge.
The bride is a 2003 graduate of Oakley High School, a 2005 graduate of Colby Community College and a 2008 graduate of Kansas State University with a degree from the College of Human Ecology. She is a quality improvement specialist for TFI Family Services, Manhattan.
The bridegroom is a 1999 graduate of Medicine Lodge High School and a 2003 graduate of KSU with a degree from the college of agriculture.
He is a vice president of technology at Purple Wave, Manhattan, and an active member of the National Auctioneer Association and is serving on the Board of Trustees for the NAA Education Institute.
Following a wedding trip to Jamaica, the newlyweds are at home in Manhattan.
