Rachel Brown and Travis Tyler were married May 2, 2009, at Immaculate Heart of Mary Parish, Hays, with Father Kevin Weber officiating.

Parents of the couple are Larry J. Brown, and James and Alice Tyler, all of Hays, and Brenda Brown, Victoria.

Grandparents of the couple are Clara and Melvin Korbe and Joann Brown, and Lawrence Firmin, all of Hays, Beth and Alva Tyler, Mankato, and the late Harold and Alma Gray.

Honor attendant was Tracy Key, friend of the bride. Attendants were Kristy Brown and Bridget Brown, sisters of the bride, Michelle Callahan and Jennifer Baruelo, friends of the bride, and Trisa Gonzolas, sister of the groom.

Best man was Matt Detherage, friend of the groom. Groomsmen were Jordan Brungardt, Jesse Jensen and Luke Jensen, friends of the groom, Kris Tyler, brother of the groom, and Larry Brown, brother of the bride.

Ushers were Zach Dinges and Brent Antholz, both friends of the groom, and Mike Gonzolas, brother-in-law of the groom.

Miniature attendant was Maddy Gonzolas. Flower girl was Molly Gonzolas. Ringbearer was Tyler Gonzolas, nieces and nephews of the groom.

The bride is a 1999 graduate of Hays High School and a 2005 graduate of Fort Hays State University. She is a student at Seattle Central Community College. She is a chemical dependency counselor with Evergreen Treatment Services, Seattle.

The bridegroom is a 1999 graduate of HHS and a 2005 graduate of FHSU. He is a multi-media graphic designer with Kitsap Credit Union, Bremerton, Wash.

Following a wedding trip to the San Juan Islands, the newlyweds are at home in Seattle.
