Laura Zadina and Blake Schmidtberger were married Oct. 3, 2010, at Trinity Lutheran Church, Hays, with Pastor Lesley Radius, officiating.
Parents of the couple are Mr. and Mrs. Chuck Zadina and Mr. and Mrs. Karl Schmidtberger, all of Hays.
The bride was escorted by her father.
Matron of honor was Toni Vargas, friend of the bride. Honor attendant was Tammy Zadina, sister of the bride. Attendants were Cindy Zadina, sister-in-law of the bride, Jennifer Schmidtberger, sister-in-law of the groom, and Amber Marrs and Shawn Jimenez, both friends of the bride.
Best man was Jesse Schmidtberger, brother of the groom. Groomsmen were Chris Zadina, brother of the bride, and Jordan Rome, Rick Dreher and Brandon Mai, all friends of the groom.
Scripture reader was Doris Goad, grandmother of the bride. Ushers were Richard Vargas, friend of the couple, Nick Jensen, friend of the groom, and TJ Dreiling, cousin of the groom. Candlelighters were Ashley Tholen and Kayla Dreiling, both cousins of the groom.
Flowergirl was Julia Zadina, niece of the bride. Ringbearer was Eric Schmidtberger, son of the groom.
The bride is a 2000 graduate of Hays High School, a 2005 graduate of Fort Hays State University and a 2009 graduate of Baker University with a master's degree. She is a clinical contracts administrator at United BioSource Corp.
The bridegroom is a 2000 graduate of HHS and a 2008 graduate of Johnson County Community College with an associate's degree. He is a digital imaging technician at Johnson County Community College.
The newlyweds are at home in Lenexa.
