Victoria, Hoxie see seasons end

The Victoria High School and Hoxie High School football teams' seasons came to an end Tuesday night.

Victoria fell 17-14 on the road in the first round of the Eight-Man Division II playoffs, while Hoxie lost on the road, 50-12, to Jetmore-Hodgeman County.

Fowler (9-1) advances to take on 9-0 Sharon Springs-Wallace County on Saturday in Sharon Springs. Victoria ends its season at 6-4.

Hodgeman County moved to 8-2 with the win and will travel to Solomon (9-1) on Saturday. Hoxie ends its season at 7-3 after finishing the previous two seasons at 6-3, one win short of the playoffs.
