STOCKTON  -- Senior Devon Ghumm passed for 130 yards and two scores, and added 89 yards and a score on the ground for the Golden Eagles. Splitting time at QB, sophomore Cordell Ratliff added 45 yards and a score. Senior Colton Parker had 113 receiving yards and three TDs, while senior Cade Papes added 52 rushign yards on seven carries with a pair of scores. Ratliff also rushed for 48 yards as Trego put up 197 yards on the ground and 175 through the air. Sophomore Nolan Lowry finished with 163 rushing yards on 28 carries with a pair of scores for Stockton. Stockton hosts St. John's-Tipton on Friday, while Trego travels to Jetmore to face Hodgeman County.

HOISINGTON -- Junior quarterback Jack Garcia put together another monster night for La Crosse. Garcia completed 14 of 25 passes for 274 yards with four touchdowns and one interception. He also rushed 17 times for 69 yards and a score as the Leopards upended Class 3A Hoisington. La Crosse, ranked No. 2 in the Class 2-1A statewide media poll, led 22-0 at halftime as Garcia hooked up with junior Andrew Jay twice in the first half. Jay had eight catches for 128 yards and a pair of scores. The Leopards had 163 rushing yards, led by senior Lucas Moeder's 78 yards on 15 carries. Moeder also caught a TD pass from Garcia. In two games, Garcia has 504 passing yards and 123 rushing yards and 11 total touchdowns. The Leopards host Minneapolis (2-0) on Friday.

The Longhorns have scored 112 points in six quarters through two games. Thunder Ridge, ranked No. 3 in Eight-Man Division II, travels to Logan-Palco (1-1) on Friday.

Phillip Bryant had 103 rushing yards on nine carries for the Huskies with three TDs. Hunter Chandler passed for all 117 yards with three TDs, while adding 41 yards on the ground. Jordan Baird had 64 yards rushing. Northern Valley travels to Hill City (0-2) on Friday. Triplains-Brewster travels to 2-0 Wallace County.

Bowe Behymer had 109 rushing yards on 12 carries for Beloit. The Redmen travel to Oberlin on Friday to take on Decatur Community.

TESCOTT -- Natoma is 2-0 for the first time since 2009 as the Tigers raced out to a 34-0 lead on the road. Jackson Stull-Meiers rushed 15 times for 204 yards and three scores, caught two passes for 52 yards and two scores and hit a 35-yard field goal in the high-scoring affair. Teyvian Frye passed for 158 yards and four scores for Natoma, completing 6 of 12 attempts. He add 64 rushing yards on four carries. Natoma hosts Wilson (1-1) on Friday.

HEALY -- Western Plains jumped out to a 22-0 lead in the first quarter, but had a couple fumbles that led to a comeback for Golden Plains. The Bobcats' Juan Mendez had 258 rushing yards and three TDs, before he went down with an injury in the second half. Western Plains coach Mike Jenner said Mendez had surgery Saturday morning on a dislocated knee and fractured femur, and he will miss the rest of the season and possibly basketball. Mendez was a state-qualifier in Class 1A for the Bobcats last spring. Golden Plains moved to 1-1 and will travel to Greeley County on Friday. Western Plains travels to Weskan.
