Tiger men fourth, sixth in polls

The Fort Hays State University men's basketball team was picked fourth and sixth in the MIAA preseason polls released Tuesday.
The Tigers, 19-9 last season and 12-8 in the MIAA, were picked fourth by the coaches and sixth in the media poll.
Washburn was picked No. 1 in both polls after winning last season's conference tournament championship.
