Tiger softball picked 4th in MIAA

The Fort Hays State University softball team was picked fourth in the new 15-team MIAA in the preseason poll, released Wednesday
Defending MIAA regular season and tournament champion Emporia State University received 12 first-place votes and sits atop the preseason poll with 194 points.
The Tigers finished third last season as part of an 11-team conference with a 31-19 mark under first-year head coach Erin Kinberger.
