Tiger women play to 1-1 draw with MSSU

The Fort Hays State University and Missouri Southern State University women's soccer teams played a 1-1 draw Friday as the match was called off in double overtime due to severe weather at FHSU Soccer Stadium.
The tie moves the Tigers to 3-5-1 overall and 0-2-1 in MIAA play. Missouri Southern moved to 2-3-2, 1-0-2). The game was called in the 100th minute.
FHSU took a 1-0 lead when Hannah Jurgens scored in the 44th minute on the assist by Jordan Hester, but Hailey Davey had a goal taken back after being called offsides.
Missouri Southern tied the match in the 76th minute. The Lions nearly scored the go-ahead but the Tigers' Dani Harris stepped in front of an open net shot. Nicole Barnaba played goalkeeper for the Tigers and earned one save.
