HHS golf seventh in Salina

SALINA -- The Hays High School girls' golf team was seventh Tuesday in the Salina South Invitational at Salina Municipal Golf Course.

Finishing in 13 place, Taylor Herman shot an 87 to lead the Indians' 378. Courtney Hess was the Indians' second best golfer, finishing in 26th place with a 94. Also scoring for Hays High were Lexie Schaben (97) and Elissa Jensen (100).

Zoey Gubitoso finished with a 103.

Manhattan earned the team trophy with a 319 and had the top individual in Blake Fingalsen with a 75.
