Flavin and Jaeger top swimmers for Hurricanes

Hays Hurricanes swimmers Megan Flavin (age 12) and Amelia Jaeger (age 9) were the high-point award winners for their age division at the Western Kansas Swim Club Combined Championship Swim Meet.
The two-day meet was in Guymon, Okla., with nearly 300 swimmers from 13 swim clubs in Western Kansas and the panhandles of Oklahoma and Texas competing.
Hurricanes swimmers who qualified for and competed at the meet were: Kallyn DeWitt, Flavin, Ana Goodlet, Hannah Harman, Jaeger, Kyra Polifka-Wilhelm, Ben Rajewski and Katie Tinkel.
Hurricanes swimmers who placed in the top three in individual events:
Amelia Jaeger (age 9): 1st place in the 50 free, 50 fly, 100 IM, 100 free, 50 back and 200 free
Megan Flavin (age 12): 1st place in the 50 Free, 200 IM, 200 Free, 2nd place in the 50 back and 3rd place in the 50 fly.
Ana Goodlet (age 14): 2nd place in the 100 Free and 3rd place in the 100 back and 100 breast. Goodlet also placed 3rd in the high-point award for her age division.
Ben Rajewski (age 17): 200 IM (2nd), 500 free (3rd)
