Snow changes schedule for Hays City Little Shoot-Out

Saturday's start times for this weekend's Hays City Little Shoot-Out, a long-running youth basketball tournament, have been moved back two hours because of this week's snowstorm that dumped 16-plus inches in the area.
For instance, if a team's first game was originally scheduled for 11 a.m., it now will begin at 1 p.m.
Tournament director Roger Bixenman said only two teams have dropped out because of the weather, and schedules for those divisions have been revised.
A total of 58 teams in eight different divisions in third- through eighth-grade will battle it out Saturday and Sunday at three different locations — Hays High School, Hays Middle School and the Hays Recreation Commission.
