The Fort Hays State University soccer teams had eight players land on the Daktronics All-Central Region soccer teams.

The men's team featured seven all-region players, while the women had one.

Freshman forward Jordan Hester made the women's all-region team as a second-team selection. Hester led the team in scoring with 10 goals. She also had four assists.

With only four region teams on the men's side, there were fewer players to select from. However, FHSU still managed to post more players on the all-region team than any other school.

Junior forward Daniel Peralta, sophomore midfielder Tanner Brock, sophomore midfielder Diego Cabral and sophomore defender Eric Hymer were first-team selections. Sophomore goalkeeper Kent Freund, senior forward Tomas Mares and freshman forward Michael Cole made the second team.

Peralta led the team in scoring with 12 goals and 0.25 shooting percentage.

Brock played a team-high 1,659 minutes, despite playing one of the most active positions on the field, and posted seven assists and two goals.

Cabral led the team in assists with seven and also scored seven goals, while Hymer anchored a defense that allowed an average of 1.63 goals per game.

Freund posted 82 saves and a 0.796 save percentage. Mares was second in scoring with 12 goals, and Cole posted six goals and four assists as just a freshman.
