Tigers' Busboom a first-team All-American

Fort Hays State University junior left fielder Ryan Busboom was named to the Daktronics first team All-American team as voted on by NCAA Division II sports information directors. He previously earned unanimous first team all-MIAA and Daktronics South Central Regional Player of the Year honors. He led the MIAA and South Central Region in RBIs with 66. As well, he hit 16 homers, collected a .718 slugging percentage, had 78 hits and 145 total bases, all team-bests. He also hit .386 for a Tiger team that went 29-24. Busboom is the first Tiger baseball All-American since Dusty Washburn in 2008.
