Fort Hays hires assistant women's basketball coach

The Fort Hays State University athletic department has announced the hiring of an assistant women's basketball coach.
Carrie Hoffstetter was an assistant the past four years at Hastings (Neb.) College under current Tiger head coach Tony Hobson.
As a player at Hastings, Hoffstetter was part of two NAIA national championship teams.
Hoffstetter, an Edgar, Neb., native, was a 2004 graduate at Hastings. As a prep player at Sandy Creek High School, Hoffstetter was part of four state championships, with her team never losing a game.
