FHSU XC runners earn all-region honors

Senior Alex Hendee and sophomore Cory Keehn earned all-region honors for the Fort Hays State University men's cross country team. Individuals that finished in the top-25 at a regional race earned all-region honors.

Keehn took third at the NCAA Division II Central Regional on Saturday. He ran the 10-kilometer course in 30 minutes, 22 seconds. Hendee finished in 17th place in 30:50.

The U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) will release the final regular-season national coaches' rankings of the season in Division II on Wednesday. In addition, regional athletes and coaches of the year will be named Wednesday.
