Three Tiger tennis players earn MIAA honors

The Fort Hays State University tennis team enjoyed the best season since it joined the MIAA six years ago and had three players named to the all-conference team. The three players were the most since the Tigers joined the MIAA.
Freshman Brittney Ricci earned second team honors at No. 2 singles, while freshman Caitlyn Wark (No. 3 singles), freshman Camille Caron-Bedard and junior Laura Johnson (No. 2 doubles) collected honorable mention honors. Fort Hays went 9-11 overall, 3-4 MIAA.
Ricci finished 13-7 overall, 5-2 in the MIAA. Wark went 19-4 overall in singles and set a new school record for wins by a freshman with 33 combined between singles and doubles. Caron-Bedard and Johnson went 4-3 in MIAA play and combined for six victories.
