Tiger volleyball drops Friday match

OMAHA, Neb. -- The Fort Hays State University volleyball team lost in straight sets Friday against 20th-ranked University of Nebraska-Omaha in Mid-America Intercollegiate Athletics Association action. The Tigers lost 25-16, 25-21, 25-21.

Senior hitter Lilian Rezende led the Tigers in kills with 10.

Nebraska-Omaha is 19-9 overall and 9-6 in the MIAA. Fort Hays is 7-22 overall, 3-12 in the MIAA.

The Tigers were scheduled to play fourth-ranked University of Central Missouri on Saturday night at Warrensburg, Mo.
