SPRINGFIELD, Ill. -- The No. 19 Fort Hays State University wrestling team won one out of three Saturday at the NWCA National Duals.

It was a stacked field, as the Tigers faced three squads ranked higher than them.

FHSU fell to No. 2 Newberry, S.C., College 28-9 in the first round, defeated No. 13 Augustana, S.D., College 22-10 in the elimination round and then fell to No. 8 University of Findlay, Ohio, 26-13.

In FHSU's victory, the match flipped back and forth early, as Augustana won three of the first five, but then FHSU won the final five to oust Augustana.

Two of FHSU's three ranked wrestlers finished 3-0. Junior C.J. Napier, ranked No. 5 at 141 pounds, and junior Tanner Kriss, ranked No. 6 at 197 pounds, were the only Tigers to go undefeated Saturday.
