Tiger women lose in double OT

TAHLEQUAH, Okla. -- The Fort Hays State University women's soccer team fell 2-1 in double overtime Sunday at Northeastern State University.
FHSU dropped to 7-5 and 3-4 in the MIAA, while NSU improved to 9-2 and 4-2 in the MIAA.
The Tigers fell behind early, as the Riverhawks scored in the 10th minute on a goal from Emily Voges. Elizabeth Cudjoe provided the assist.
FHSU freshman forward Ember Albertson tied it in the 69th minute on an assist from freshman midfielder Alexis Aiman.
In overtime, FHSU kept up the pressure, producing six shots and forcing three saves, but Northeastern State got the golden goal in the 106th minute. Renee Valcarcel scored on assist from Kaili Endres.
FHSU freshman goalkeeper Rachael Schaad finished with eight saves but allowed two goals.
