Schumacher, Herman earn all-WAC honors for HHS

Two Hays High School girls' basketball players were named to the all-Western Athletic Conference team.

Senior forwards Katelyn Schumacher and Taylor Herman each earned all-league honors. Schumacher was a first-team selection, while Herman was a second-team selection.

Schumacher averaged 12.6 points and 7.3 rebounds per game. Herman produced tremendous all-around statistics, averaging 5.4 points, 4.8 rebounds, 2.8 assists, 1.9 steals and 2.1 blocks per game.
