HHS tennis team finishes third in Garden City

GARDEN CITY -- The Hays High School boys' tennis team had what head coach Brett Jensen described as its best team performance this season.
The Indians finished third out of eight teams Saturday at the Garden City Invitational with 26 points. Great Bend won the tournament with 29 points, and Garden City finished second with 27.
All of the Indians' singles and doubles finished in the top three.
Senior Bryce McClung went 3-1 and finished third in No. 1 singles, and junior Cody Brown finished 2-1 to earn second.
Both doubles teams got third.
Seniors Hunter Wilkens and Blake McClung went 3-1 in No. 1 doubles, and senior Gustavo Reyes and junior Nick Glassman finished 3-1 in No. 2 doubles.
