Hurricanes compete at Leoti

LEOTI -- Three Hays Hurricane swimmers finished in the top three at the Western Kansas Swim Club meet on Saturday in Leoti.

Grace Stanton, 8, finished first in the 25-yard butterfly, second in the 25-yard freestyle and 25-yard backstroke and third in the 25-yard breaststroke.

Benjamin Rajewski, 15, placed second in the 100 butterfly, second in the 200 IM and third in the 100 freestyle. Emilee Pfannenstiel, 11, was third in the 50 backstroke.

Other Hurricanes competing were Elizabeth Thomas, Jackson Stanton and Ana Goodlet.

The Hurricanes will compete Saturday in Dodge City.
