Hurricanes compete at Dodge City

DODGE CITY -- Four Hays Hurricanes took home top-three finishes Saturday at the Dodge City Swim Meet.

Zachary Smith, 7, took home three golds in the 25-yard freestyle, 25-yard backstroke and 50-yard freestyle and second in the 25-yard breaststroke.

Isaac Smith, 10, won the 50-yard freestyle, 50-yard backstroke and 100 IM and placed second in the 50-yard butterfly.

Gracie Stanton, 8, won the 25-yard butterfly and finished second in the 25-yard backstroke and 100-yard IM and third in the 50-yard freestyle.

Kallyn Dewitt, 10, finished third in the 100-yard freestyle.

Other Hurricanes competing were Lakin Ditter, Loganne Ditter, Ana Goodlet, Mackenzie Hagerman, Yesenia Maldonado, Emilee Pfannenstiel, Jackson Stanton, Elizabeth Thomas, Megan Flavin, Alex Flavin, Ady Albers and Amelia Jaeger.

The Hurricanes compete next June 23 at Lakin.
