Victoria to play Osborne for K-18 title

LUCAS -- Two area teams reached the championship game of the K-18 Baseball State Tournament.
Victoria will play Osborne in the title game following the consolation game at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday in Lucas.
Victoria defeated the Beloit Red 11-1 in six innings in the semifinals, while Osborne beat Republic County 20-6 in five innings.
Neither team has finished a game in the state tournament without run ruling its opponent, as Victoria won 12-1 in five innings against Concordia F&A in the first round and Osborne won 17-7 in five innings against Colby.
The Beloit Red will play Republic County at 6:30 p.m. in the consolation game.
