Monarch golfers fourth in Hoisington

HOISINGTON -- The Thomas More Prep-Marian girls' golf team finished fourth out of six teams Monday at the Hoisington Invitational.
TMP had a team score of 239. Russell won the meet with a 197. Hoisington was second with 212, and Larned third with 216.
No Monarch medaled, but Monica Michaud was one stroke away from medaling.
Michaud led the way with a 57.
Annaka Applequist shot a 59, Emily Leiker recorded a 61 and Jenna Schuckman posted a 62.
Andie Marsell and Hannah Michaud shot 65 and 74, respectively.
Ashton Nickelson of Hoisington won the meet with a 43.
