Monarch soccer falls to Elyria Christian

MCPHERSON -- The Thomas More Prep-Marian girls' soccer team remained winless Thursday, losing 4-0 on the road against Elyria Christian.

The Monarchs (0-11) haven't won since May 9, 2011, when they defeated Wichita Word of Life 2-1.

Elyria Christian scored three goals in the first half and one goal in the second half.

TMP shot the ball 16 times with 10 being on goal, but none scored.

TMP junior goalkeepers Andie Marsell and Alivia Inlow switched duties at halftime, and both finished with three saves.
