TMP volleyball picks up first win

HOISINGTON -- The Thomas More Prep-Marian volleyball team got its first win of the season at the Mid-Central Activities Association quad.

The Monarchs rallied against and defeated Larned (10-25, 25-17, 25-21), but lost to Ellinwood (25-13, 25-15) and Hoisington (25-9, 25-6).

TMP now is 1-8 this season.

The Monarchs have a quick turn around and will compete at 9 a.m. Saturday at a tournament in Ellsworth.
