Area players selected for KVCA game

Five area players were selected for the Kansas Volleyball Coaches Association statewide all-star game played June 2 at Washburn University's Lee Arena in Topeka. Start time is 6:30 p.m.
On the red team is Oberlin's Kiah Blau, Phillipsburg's Raegan Vanderplas and Smith Center's Torie Fuller. On the blue team is Smith Center's Michaela Sasse and Phillipsburg's Haley Thompson.
In Class 2A, Fuller and Sasse were first-team all-state selections, while Blau was an honorable mention selection.
In Class 3A, Vanderplas was a first team selection, while Thompson collected honorable mention honors.
