The theme for this year's Wild West Festival Main Street Parade is American Spirit and will begin at 10 a.m. July 4 in downtown Hays.

Entry forms for the parade already are being accepted and can be found at www.wildwestfestival.com or at Hays Welcome Center, 2700 Vine. The Hays Welcome Center is open 8 a.m. to 7 p.m. Mondays through Fridays, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturdays and 1 to 5 p.m. Sundays. The deadline is June 29.

"We have approximately 10 entries turned in so far, which is typical at this point in time," said Sabrina William, Downtown Hays Development coordinator. "We're looking forward to receiving many more entries who are dedicated to sharing their pride and patriotism with community members."
