The entire bargaining unit -- all Hays USD 489 licensed personnel -- will vote on the ratification of the tentative employment agreement with the Hays USD 489 board of education. Employees do not have to belong to the teachers union to vote. A story in Wednesday's edition misstated who was eligible to vote.
