Commissioner pushes for town hall meetings
By RANDY GONZALES
Ellis County Commission Chairman Dean Haselhorst pushed for a series of town hall meetings for the proposed county sales tax in Monday night's regular meeting at the Ellis County Courthouse.
"I would like to plan for one a week, try to get some of our department heads to come to them," Haselhorst said during time for commissioners' reports. "We need their support, their face there."
Haselhorst already was working to set up town hall meetings in Victoria, and was checking on locations in Hays and Ellis, too.
