Edna May Paden, 91, Norton, died Monday, Oct. 22, 2007, at Norton County Hospital, Norton. She was born Feb. 5, 1916, in Fort Dodge, Iowa, to George and Bertha (Phelps) Grabhorn. She attended school in Blue Rapids. She married Luther Paden on Nov. 19, 1938, in Marysville. He preceded her in death in 1985. Survivors include, a son, Dennis Paden, Norton; a daughter, Cheryl Bates, Oakley; a sister, Flora Dene Grabhorn, Norton; four grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren. Services will be at 2 p.m. Friday at Enfield Funeral Home, Norton; burial in Norton Cemetery. Visitation will be from 3 to 8:30 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home. Memorials are suggested to Andbe Home Activity Fund in care of the funeral home.
