The Ellis County Extension office will offer a free educational program Simple Home Modifications for Aging in Place at noon April 17 at the Extension office meeting room, 601 Main.

Aging in place means remaining in one's home safely, independently and comfortably, with the ability to enjoy a familiar living environment throughout the maturing years. The program will feature simple, cost-effective changes that can be made to allow people to live longer in their own homes in safety and comfort.

The guest speaker will be Kathy Lupfer-Nielson, Post Rock Extension District agent. A minimum attendance is required, so pre-registration is important.

Bring a lunch to enjoy during the program if desired. RSVP to the Extension office by Monday at (785) 628-9430 or email el@listserv.ksu.edu.
