Anti-hazing events continue at FHSU

Fort Hays State University's Greek Life will have National Hazing Prevention Week events through Thursday designed to raise awareness about and eliminate hazing.
National Hazing Prevention Week, observed on campuses across the country, is intended to bring attention to the problem of hazing while providing campus organizations and individuals with an opportunity to come out against hazing practices.
Hazing Prevention Week activities include:
* Pledge Card: Students will have the opportunity to sign a card pledging not to engage in hazing, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Tuesday at Memorial Union.
* Sex Ed Boot Camp: Dr. Joni Frater and Esther Lastique answer questions on the topics of sexual harassment and sexual health at 7 p.m. Wednesday at Beach/Schmidt Performing Arts Center.
* Anti-Hazing Hero Panel (webinar): A panel of students who took action to prevent hazing on their campus will share stories at 1 p.m. Thursday at Memorial Union, Center for Student Involvement Office.
