Prospective students invited to Tiger Day
Special to The Hays Daily News
Between 250 and 300 high school juniors and seniors and community college students and their families are expected to attend Tiger Day on Nov. 3 to take a closer look at the opportunities available at Fort Hays State University.
"Tiger Day is an event for prospective students to visit the FHSU campus to learn what we have to offer," said Tricia Cline, director of admissions. "Students will go on a tour of campus, hear from current students, visit the academic departments, and learn about organizations and activities at FHSU. This is a great way for them to learn why Fort Hays State would be a great fit for them and to see what life as a Tiger is all about."
Presentations on majors, scholarships and extracurricular activities are planned throughout the day.
