Collision sends one to hospital
By The Hays Daily News
Two cars collided at approximately 2 p.m. Friday at Seventh and Park on the Fort Hays State University campus.
A woman driving a Mazda 3 on Park Street hit another woman in a Chevrolet Impala turning left from Seventh. The driver of the Mazda was taken to the hospital with a neck-brace because her airbag deployed. She sustained bruises, cuts and possibly a concussion, said Kody Ellis, police officer with FHSU's Police Department.
The officer said the intersection can be hard to navigate because parked vehicles might block drivers' vision.
