AARP to offer tax aide in WaKeeney
WaKEENEY -- Since 1968, the AARP Tax-Aide program has helped more than 40 million taxpayers file their returns. It is a free, confidential, quality service provided for taxpayers with low-and moderate-income, with special attention to those 60 and older.
AARP Tax-Aide volunteers are specially trained using IRS materials. This service will be available again this tax season at the WaKeeney Public Library. The Tax-Aide volunteer will be at the library beginning Feb. 5.
To make an appointment with a trained AARP Tax-Aide volunteer, call (785) 650-3797 between the hours of 9 a.m. and 7 p.m. beginning Feb. 1.
